Event Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Coordinate all events from first point of contact through until event execution
  • Assist with and prepare event budgets and ensure adherence
  • Source and negotiate with event vendors and suppliers
  • Lead promotional activities for events and food and beverage ventures
  • Coordinate all aspects before the day of the event and ensure event is completed smoothly
  • Follow-up with events and functions to ensure satisfaction and rebook when appropriate
  • Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as event manager
  • Skilled in project management
  • Computer savvy; proficient in Canva
  • Outstanding communication ability
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A knack for problem-solving
  • Customer-service orientation
  • A team player with leadership skills
