Additional land purchased to expand the 9 hole layout

Additional land was purchased to expand the layout of the 9-hole facility, re-routing the original 9-hole layout to a layout that is the basis for the current Vintage 9.

Dozens of trees were planted by Dr. W. C. Pratt.  Many of these trees are still prominently featured in the current layout.  A memorial to Dr. Pratt is situated beside the tee of #3 Vintage.
